This event will NOT be followed by a public signing, pre-signed copies of John's book will be available ONLY at the event on the evening for £20. There are two buying options for this event. Option 1 costs £20 and gets you entry to the event and a pre-signed copy of 'Anger is an Energy'. Option 2 costs just £5 and is a general, unallocated seating ticket for the event.

We are pleased to announce that PiL will play a one-off concert at London’s Indigo at the O2 on Saturday, December 13th 2014. This is the first PiL show since October 2013 and their only show of 2014.
Tickets go on general sale this Friday, September 19th, at 11am. Preceded by a PiL Official pre-sale on Thursday, September 18th, at 11am (BST). Links will be posted on www.pilofficial.com prior to pre-sale start.
PiL are currently preparing to enter the studio to record their 10th studio album, the follow-up to their critically and publicly acclaimed 2012 album, 'This is PiL'. The new PiL album will be recorded in late 2014 with a tentative release date of summer 2015 planned. The band will be taking time off from the studio to play this special one-off show.

John Lydon contributes a foreword to the new Front Line 'Sounds of Reality' box set released via Virgin Records.
The deluxe 5 disc box features many of Jamaica's greatest talents, performing 92 of the most enduring Roots, Dub, Lovers Rock and DJ sounds of the seventies, with over 31 tracks new to CD, of which a third are previously unissued. Also included in the set are a 52 page booklet, repro posters and car sticker.
John recounts his scouting trip to Jamaica with Richard Branson in February 1978 which was key to Virgin's acquisition of some of the finest Reggae recordings of the era.

The artwork is loosely based on the original 1978 UK cassette release and is issued as a hand-numbered, limited edition of 500, hand-made card tip-on box. One of the great icons of popular music, John Lydon (aka Johnny Rotten) is to appear at the historic Albert Hall in Manchester to launch his autobiography Anger is An Energy: My Life Uncensored.
John Lydon will be taking part in an exclusive no-holds-barred live onstage interview with DJ/writer Dave Haslam, discussing his turbulent life, from his beginnings as a sickly child of immigrant Irish parents who grew up in post-war London to his present status as an alternative national hero, via the Sex Pistols, Public Image Ltd (PiL), collaborations with Afrika Bambaataa and Leftfield, compelling opinions and celebrated TV appearances.
He’ll also be signing copies of his autobiography (the book will be on sale at the venue on the night).
This will surely be one of Manchester’s most memorable pop culture events of the year.
