Following on from highly successful 2015 dates in UK, Europe and North America John Rotten Lydon’s Public Image Ltd (PiL) are pleased to announce a further UK/Europe summer tour kicking off in Valencia, Spain on Friday, May 6th (see below for all dates). Several of the 2015 dates were sold-out and regarded by many as the best performances the band have ever played.

The 22 date tour includes a return to London’s, Indigo at 02 on Saturday, June 4th (which PiL previously sold-out in December 2014). The tour takes in festival and club shows in Spain, Germany, Slovakia, Poland and Ukraine before heading to the UK on Tuesday, May 24th for a re-arranged show at Coventry, The Copper Rooms at Warwick University.

The band will also headline the Bearded Theory Festival in Walton-on-Trent on Saturday, May 28th and play shows in Wakefield, Wrexham, Cardiff, Sunderland, Lincoln, Blackburn, Oxford and Sheffield; as well as the previously mentioned Indigo at O2 show in London.

The Guardian today premiered the promo video for the new PiL single 'The One' due for release on November 13th. Watch via The Guardian or the PiL Official YouTube channel...

PiL will release 'The One' in UK/Europe on limited edition etched vinyl. 'Bettie Page' will be released on the same day in the US and features the track along with an etch of Bettie Page. All original artwork was designed by John Lydon.

The One & Bettie Page limited edition etched 7" singles

PiL will release 'The One' in UK/Europe on limited edition etched vinyl on Friday, November 13th. The 7" single features 'The One' on one side and an etched PiL logo on the other.

'Bettie Page' will be released on the same day in the US and features the track along with an etch of Bettie Page. All original artwork was designed by John Lydon.

The singles can be ordered individually, or as a bundle, via the Cargo Records website.

Unfortunately we are unable to reschedule the Coventry Copper Rooms show. We have tried everything we possibly can to make it work, however, due to prior commitments and scheduling issues, it has proved impossible. We would like to take this opportunity to apologise to the fans who bought tickets and turned up on the night.

We were looking forward to playing the show and are genuinely upset at not being able to reschedule at this time. We hope that everyone understands the circumstances that led up to the cancelation, and we offer our heartfelt apologies. Please believe that we are as disappointed as you are. Coventry, The Copper Rooms UPDATE

PiL unfortunately had to cancel their show at The Copper Rooms in Coventry last night (23rd Sep) due to illness and at the advice of doctors.

We apologise for how late in the day this decision was made and for any inconvenience it caused. We are very hopefully a new date will be arranged for October, however it will take a few days for us to iron out these details, please hold on to your tickets for now and we expect to be able to announce the new date early next week. If for any reason you cannot make the new date, you are of course entitled to a refund from your point of purchase.

John is making a good recovery and tomorrow's show in Bristol, and the rest of the tour, will go ahead as scheduled.

The show will cover John's life and career to date taking in his childhood and personal life, through the Pistols and PiL to his TV and media work. Definitely not to be missed! The show will also be available on the ITV Player online (especially handy as PiL are playing live at Bristol that night!).

Ahead of their 23 date UK/Europe tour, which kicks off tomorrow, Friday, September 18th PiL unveil the making of video for their critically acclaimed new album 'What The World Needs Now...'

The making of video was filmed in the Cotswolds’ by John Rambo Stevens (John Lydon / PiL manager) who had unrivalled access to the recording and writing of the album. The video shows a candid glimpse of PiL’s creative process and humour which is rarely shared.
