John and Rambo would like to pass on their condolences to the family of Gerald John Green who they met many times at the Cotswolds while recording 'This is PiL' and 'What The World Needs Now...'. Gerald was always a friendly old face and he always had time for them.

As Rambo's uncle had served in Palestine with the Paras just after the Second World War, Rambo particularly appreciated Gerald's stories about serving in the Palestine Police around the same time, where Gerald was injured twice with shrapnel. Gerald often shared stories with John and Rambo of how he still carried the shrapnel wounds.

RIP Gerald.

Legend and icon John Lydon will talk about how he sees life, along with his unique and extraordinary career, during a one-off 54-date UK tour. The shows in Autumn 2020 will coincide with the publication of his new book, I Could Be Wrong, I Could Be Right and will visit all parts of England, Scotland and Wales.

Lydon will reflect on the Sex Pistols, Public Image Limited (PiL), his art and his life’s story during informal evenings of conversation and audience questions. The tour will start in September 2020 and end in November 2020 and tickets go on sale on November 1. Limited, pre-release tickets for fans are available from October 28.

Signed Limited Edition copies of his forthcoming book I Could Be Wrong, I Could Be Right, written especially for this tour, will be available at venues - only 5,000 numbered copies will be printed.

An icon, a revolutionary and an immortal, as the frontman and lyricist of the Sex Pistols, Johnny Rotten changed the face of music and sparked a cultural revolution. He caused an earthquake which transformed music for good. During his remarkable years in Public Image Ltd he consistently pushed back the boundaries and still continues to challenge and thrive.

As a writer, Lydon wrote two best-selling volumes of memoir: the excoriating Rotten: No Irish, No Blacks, No Dogs and the ridiculously entertaining and uncompromising Anger Is An Energy: My Life Uncensored.

Now he is embarking on his first spoken word tour, where fans will get to hear his stories up-close-and-personal.

The North American Theatrical Premiere of The Public Image Is Rotten will take place at the New York, Metrograph on Thursday, September 13th.

There will be several screenings at the Metrograph over the following week and John Lydon will be present at selected screenings.

On Thursday, September 13th John will be introducing the NYC 'sneak screening' at 10pm. Then on Friday, September 14th John will introduce the 7pm screening and do a Q&A after the screening. He will also introduce the 10pm screening.

The previously sold-out show at Los Angeles, El Rey has been moved to a larger venue at The Fonda Theater in Hollywood after the El Ray show sold out in less than 24 hours.

Tickets on sale this Friday, July 27th. All tickets that were sold for the El Rey will be honoured at The Fonda.

We can confirm that John Lydon is voicing a villain in Nickelodeon’s new animated Ninja Turtles series 'Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles'.
The show starts in September on Channel 5 and Nicktoons.

The box is released as a 5 CD / 2 DVD version, along with a 6 LP vinyl version (including download card) and also Digital. The set also includes a 72 page book, poster, prints and is packaged in a unique debossed black and gold foil box.

The box set features PiL Singles (1978-2015), B-sides, Rarities and Radio Sessions, 12” Mixes, Unreleased Mixes and Tracks and a live concert from New York Ritz in July 1989. The DVD includes PiL promo videos and footage from the BBC’s Top Of The Pops and Old Grey Whistle Test. Two legendary live concerts are also includes on the DVD, the first PiL’s appearance at the Tallinn Rock Summer Festival in Estonia 1988 and the second from 2013’s Enmore Theatre in Australia during the This is PiL tour. Speaking about the track in the upcoming documentary on the band's history, John Lydon says: "Annalisa: a bizarre story. It's about a young 14-year-old girl in Germany. Her parents were convinced she was possessed by demons. So they called in a priest and they suffocated her while trying to ex-communicate these demons. They actually killed the poor girl."
